Architects Jon Cullen and Michelle Feng established Cullen Feng in 1996, with their work quickly gaining recognition both nationally and internationally. Now a medium sized practice, Cullen Feng has established a solid reputation in the industry for the design and delivery of conceptually strong and inspiring environments which are harmonious with their context. Identifying the unique design potential of each project while understanding the realities of time, cost and buildability is of fundamental importance to the practice.

 

Cullen Feng has extensive experience in a wide range of building types. Residential projects range from individual houses to multi-unit apartment buildings. Commercial projects include major hotel, office and retail buildings, art galleries and restaurants. Together with their experience in interiors, furniture, industrial and graphic design, the principals brings a comprehensive and detailed design approach to every project.

 

Cullen Feng won the Papua New Guinea Institute of Architects award of Merit 2011 for Era Dorina Stage 4 Apartments. The work of the practice has been extensively published and recognised.

 

 

Michelle Feng is a registered architect who graduated from Sydney University and later completed a Masters Degree in Industrial Design at UNSW and studied at the Julian Ashton Art School.  She has worked for major design practices in both Sydney and London.   She has extensive experience in commercial interior design including offices, retail and cinemas.

JON CULLEN

Jon Cullen is a registered architect who graduated from Sydney University with first class honours and the University Medal. He held a senior position with Peddle Thorp & Walker for a number of years. He has significant experience in the design and procurement of multi-unit housing developments, office buildings, museums and art galleries.
